From Tiny Pup to Office Mascot šŸ¢

When Zero first came into my life, I had no idea just how quickly everything would change.

The first few weeks with him weren’t just about cuddles and puppy breath—they were full-on socialization bootcamp. But here’s the twist: before Zero ever stepped paw on a sidewalk, he had already clocked in for work.

Yep. My tiny Frenchie started office life before walk life. šŸ˜…

No Walks, Just Work šŸ“š

Because he hadn’t finished his vaccines yet, going outdoors was a no-go for the first 5 weeks. But leaving him home alone? Not a chance. He was way too tiny. Way too soft. Way too… baby.

So I packed him up and took him with me to work. Luckily, my boss was 100% supportive. (Shoutout to cool bosses who love dogs šŸ‘)

The Daily Commute šŸ‘œ

Every morning, we’d get ready together. Zero had his own little carrier bag—a total lifesaver for those early days.

It became our daily ride. Zero in the bag, me with my coffee, off to work we went.

I honestly thought he’d be anxious or overwhelmed. Instead, I was the one who couldn’t relax. šŸ˜‚

He hadn’t been potty-trained yet, and the whole office floor was carpeted. So I set up a big box with pee pads and crossed my fingers. He whined. All. Day. Long. And one day… he escaped. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

But everyone in the office fell in love with him.
Whenever someone walked in, Zero would squeak with excitement like,
ā€œI’m here!! Notice me!!ā€ It was adorable (and also… very distractingšŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø).

There were days when I felt more like a full-time puppy sitter than an employee—especially for my boss, who couldn’t resist giving Zero all the attention. šŸ˜‚

All he needed was a small cushion under the desk to chill. He had one favorite from the day we adopted him—we even bought a second one just for the office. But as he grew, he sadly outgrew it. 🄲

Still, something about having this tiny, warm creature breathing quietly under my desk just made every day better. Softer. Happier.

One ear flopped. His whole body fit in a basket. And at the end of each day, like clockwork, he’d crawl into his bag with those big eyes like,
ā€œLet’s go home, mom. You did great today.ā€

It was honestly the cutest thing ever.

Looking back, I’m so glad I took tons of photos and videos. That season of baby Zero is something I’ll always hold close—and even though he’s bigger now, he’ll always be my tiny office pup at heart. šŸ’™
